The Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness is appropriate for individuals working in all sectors and aims to develop knowledge and understanding of mental health issues.
The training has accredited through ProQual Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
This qualification has been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework.
The Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness has been designed for individuals working in any role and assess the candidates skills, knowledge and understanding of Mental Health awareness. The training aims to equip candidates with the knowledge and awareness of mental health issues and how to facilitate and support anyone who may suffer from any form of mental health issues.

The course would be delivered over a 2 day training course, that will incorporate classroom based learning, blended learning as well as scenario based learning. The course has been designed to be inquisitive and informative, providing a safe and open arena for discussion and exploration of the sensitive topic.
The total qualification time for the course is 20 hours, and is internally assessed and verified by GGL Training Solution staff, Assessors and independent Internal Quality Assurers (IQA’s). The training and candidate evidence is then externally verified by ProQual verifiers, to ensure quality and standards are maintained throughout the learning journey.
